Overview
A housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, organization, and overall upkeep of a designated property, ensuring a clean and comfortable environment. This role may be found in private homes, hotels, hospitals, offices, or other facilities.
Responsibilities
- Dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Washing windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
- Cleaning bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, and showers.
- Sanitizing kitchen areas, countertops, and appliances.
- Removing trash and recycling.
- Washing, drying, folding, and ironing clothes and linens.
- Changing bed linens and making beds.
- Tidying rooms, arranging furniture, and organizing belongings.
- Restocking cleaning supplies, toiletries, and pantry items.
- Checking for damages or maintenance needs and reporting them.
- Ensuring safety standards are met in all areas.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience (an advantage but not always required).
Skills

- Knowledge of cleaning supplies, tools, and safety procedures.
- Basic knowledge of laundry and ironing techniques.
Physical Requirements
