Overview
A housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of a home or facility. Their duties typically include:
- Cleaning: Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning surfaces such as countertops, floors, and windows.
- Laundry: Washing, drying, ironing, and folding clothes, linens, and towels.
- Sanitizing: Disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and high-touch areas to maintain hygiene.
- Changing bedding: Replacing sheets and making beds in guest rooms or bedrooms.
- Organizing: Tidying up common areas, arranging furniture, and ensuring rooms are orderly.
- Restocking supplies: Ensuring cleaning supplies, toiletries, and other essentials are stocked and available.
