LIME Hotels and Resorts in Manila is seeking a Purchasing Associate with solid hotel purchasing experience. You will handle day-to-day purchasing activities for food & beverage, housekeeping, engineering, and hotel operations, ensuring compliance with policies and budgets.

The role requires strong negotiation, attention to detail, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Collaboration with F&B, Kitchen, Housekeeping, Engineering and other departments is essential to meet operational needs.

Qualifications

• Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented with good numerical and analytical abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with hotel procurement or inventory systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the day-to-day purchasing activities of the hotel.
• Source and evaluate suppliers based on quality, price, availability, and service.
• Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with hotel policies and approved requirements.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Obtain quotations and conduct price comparisons to achieve competitive pricing.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments regarding purchasing requirements.
• Verify delivered items against purchase orders, specifications, and approved quantities.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier information, and documentation.
• Coordinate closely with F&B, Kitchen, Housekeeping, Engineering, and other hotel departments to ensure operational requirements are met.
• Assist with supplier negotiations and maintain good vendor relationships.
• Monitor market prices and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure all purchases comply with hotel standards, policies, and approved budgets.
• Support monthly purchasing reports, inventory documentation, and other procurement-related tasks.
