Job summary

Marriott Hotel Manila is seeking a facilities maintenance engineer to respond to guest repair requests and perform preventive maintenance across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. You will inspect equipment, operate shut-offs, manage inventories, and ensure safe, efficient building operations.

The role requires a high school diploma or vocational background with at least two years in hotel engineering/maintenance, a valid driver’s license, and Universal CFC certification.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. with vocational/technical background.
• At least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience.
• General maintenance, surface preparation, and painting experience.
• Must hold Universal CFC certification.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must meet applicable state and federal certification/licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Respond and attend to guest repair requests.
• Communicate with guests to resolve maintenance issues with minimal supervision.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Inspect tools, equipment, and machinery; carry equipment as needed.
• Identify and operate shut-off valves; manage energy and safety procedures.
• Train and mentor other engineers and support Engineer on Duty tasks.
