Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
• Assist guests with seating arrangements and provide menus.
• Answer questions about menu items, ingredients, and available food and beverages.
• Provide recommendations and accommodate reasonable guest requests.
• Handle guest concerns and complaints professionally and promptly.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and confirm special requests or dietary requirements.
• Enter orders into the POS system or communicate them to the kitchen.
• Ensure that orders are relayed correctly to avoid errors and delays.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and according to established service standards.
• Ensure that the correct orders are delivered to the appropriate guests.
• Check guest satisfaction during meals and respond to additional requests.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar personnel to ensure smooth service.
• Prepare tables, chairs, cutlery, glassware, and other dining essentials before service.
• Set up tables according to the establishment's standards.
• Clear used plates, utensils, and glassware after guests finish dining.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dining area throughout the shift.
• Present bills accurately and promptly upon request.
• Process cash, card, or other authorized payments following company procedures.
• Ensure that transactions are recorded correctly and discrepancies are reported to the supervisor.
• Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and personal hygiene practices.
• Ensure that serving equipment and utensils are clean and properly maintained.
• Observe established food safety standards and report any potential hygiene or safety concerns.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other service personnel.
• Communicate special requests, order changes, and guest concerns to the appropriate team members.
• Assist colleagues when necessary to maintain efficient restaurant operations.
• Follow company policies, workplace rules, and standard operating procedures.
