Job summary

QUEST PLUS CONFERENCE CENTER MANILA, part of Filinvest Hotel, is seeking a Cost Controller to manage cost control, inventory, and reporting processes within the hospitality operation. The role requires coordination with multiple departments to ensure accurate cost tracking and posting in Business Central.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Hotel & Restaurant Management with at least 3 years in cost control. Willingness to work in Muntinlupa City is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in cost control or cost accounting in hospitality or F&B.
• Strong inventory management and cost analysis skills.
• Proficient with MS Excel and hotel systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepares daily cost reports for submission to Cost Controller.
• Ensures accurate charging of inter-transfer and other reports in Business Central.
• Maintains and archives inventory count sheets and related documents.
• Encodes item adjustments with correct department code and accounts.
• Conducts regular month-end and year-end physical inventory counts.
• Prepares final inventory count sheets for posting and reconciliation.
• Performs monthly spoilage, losses, and obsolescence checks.
• Conducts yield testing and buffet costing.
• Reports inventory discrepancies for accountability.
• Ensures new items are posted in Business Central.
• Assists in market surveys with Purchasing Department.
• Supervises Cost Control Clerk and Storekeeper to ensure report integrity.
• Coordinates with Receiving and AP to ensure complete invoicing.
• Oversees Cost Control Section in the absence of Cost Controller.
• Complies with company policy and procedures.
