Job summary

Radisson RED Cebu Mandaue is seeking a Cost Controller to audit materials-management activities and manage inventory costing. You will prepare daily and monthly cost of sales reports and monitor guest supplies against budget.

The role requires attention to data accuracy, collaboration with hotel staff, and proficiency with accounting software and MS Office to support accurate financial controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
• Two years accounting experience, preferably in a hospitality environment.
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with accounting software.
• Able to collaborate effectively with other hotel employees and managers to ensure teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Audit the activities of the materials management department.
• Prepare daily and monthly reports relating to cost of sales.
• Prepare figures on General Stores issues such as Guest Supplies usage against budget.
• Check data entry of material management employees and correct when necessary.
• Audit inventory transactions for commissary and outlet kitchens for inventory control and costing.
• Maintain records of inventory transactions, ensuring accuracy and authorization.
• Perform end-of-month inventory stock counts and reconcile differences.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliation for Inventory categories (food, beverage, general, engineering).

• Prepare daily and monthly reports relating to cost of sales.
• Prepare figures on General Stores issues such as Guest Supplies usage against budget.
• Checking data entry of material management employees and correcting when necessary.
• Auditing inventory transactions make the commissary (pasty and butchery) and outlet kitchens for the purposes of inventory control and potential costing.
• Maintaining records of inventory transactions, ensuring their accuracy and authorization.
• Perform inventory stock count by the end of month, reconcile and investigate any differences arising from the result.
• Performs balance sheet reconciliation for Inventory (food, beverage, general, engineering)
