Job summary

Ideaship Philippines Holdings Inc. is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to own the accounting function in a café/restaurant setting, lead the accounting team, and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations, preparing financial statements, monitoring sales and cash flow, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in café, restaurant, food service, retail, or commissary operations is a plus.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the Accounting Team and ensure timely completion of accounting tasks.
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate and complete financial records.
• Prepare and review Financial Statements, Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, and other management reports.
• Monitor and review daily sales, cash collections, and branch reconciliations.
• Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and account reconciliations.
• Monitor inventory, food costs, purchases, expenses, and commissary-related transactions.
• Review financial variances and discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist Management in budgeting, cash flow monitoring, financial analysis, and business planning.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, tax requirements, and applicable government regulations.
