Job summary

DCX is hiring a Home-Based Data Entry - Accounts Payable Specialist to support a U.S.-based construction company. You will handle vendor and subcontractor invoices, match POs, manage backcharges, and assist with builder billing and collections from a home-based role in the Philippines.

The position requires 3+ years in accounting, expertise in QuickBooks and Excel, and the ability to work overnight or US hours. Salary range PHP 50,000–53,000 with full-time benefits.

We’re hiring a Home-Based Data Entry - Accounts Payable Specialist to join a growing U.S.-based construction company specializing in residential concrete and masonry. In this role, you will support the company’s accounting operations by processing vendor and subcontractor invoices, matching purchase orders, managing backcharges, and supporting builder billing and collections. You will play a key role in keeping financial records accurate, resolving invoice discrepancies, and making sure vendors, subcontractors, and builders are billed and paid correctly and on time.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Builder Billing and Work Done

• Prepare and manage requests for extra work quotes involving EPO/VPO.
• Follow up on overdue builder invoices to support timely payment collection.
• Handle disputes related to builder invoices, EPOs, and VPOs.
• Process builder payments

Vendor and Subcontractor Invoice Processing

• Process all vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Process subcontractor invoices and ensure proper documentation.
• Upload purchase orders and perform EPO/VPO matching.
• Upload plans and plot plans as required.
• Process and manage subcontractor backcharges.
• Process and manage vendor backcharges.
• Process and manage builder backcharges.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A post-secondary degree or certificate related to accounting may also be considered.
• Experience: 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in accounts payable, billing, or invoice processing. Experience in construction or contractor accounting is an advantage.
• Language Proficiency: Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Working schedule: Ability to work overnight/graveyard shifts in Philippine time or within US operating hours.
• Technical Skills:
  • Expert in QuickBooks.
  • Very proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new applications.
  • Ability to perform clerical functions, including researching, tracking, and resolving accounting problems.
  • Strong multitasking and prioritization skills without compromising accuracy, and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
  • A growth mindset and a love for working with numbers; continuous ongoing training will be provided.
