Ascendion is seeking a Data Engineer to design, develop, and optimize enterprise-scale data platforms and pipelines using Microsoft Azure technologies in Makati City. The role emphasizes data quality, governance, and platform reliability, with a strong focus on building scalable data architectures and high-performance data pipelines.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions and ensure compliance with security standards.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data architectures, data models, and enterprise databases to support operations and analytics.
• Build and optimize end-to-end data pipelines and transformation workflows using modern cloud technologies with emphasis on Azure.
• Develop and support Azure-based data solutions, including Azure Functions and Azure Cosmos DB, focusing on performance and reliability.
• Execute testing, monitoring, troubleshooting, maintenance, and continuous improvement to ensure stability, security, and performance of data platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions while ensuring data governance and security; must be willing to work full onsite in Makati City.

The Data Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and supporting enterprise-scale data platforms and solutions. This role focuses on building scalable data architectures, developing high-performance data pipelines, managing data models, and ensuring data quality, governance, and platform reliability. The Data Engineer will leverage modern cloud technologies, including Microsoft Azure, Cosmos DB, and Azure Functions, to enable efficient data integration, processing, analytics, and business intelligence capabilities while promoting engineering best practices and continuous innovation across the organization.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data architectures, data models, and enterprise databases to support business operations, reporting, and analytics.

• Build and optimize end-to-end data pipelines, integration processes, and data transformation workflows using modern cloud technologies, ensuring high-quality and reliable data.

• Develop and support Azure-based data solutions, including Azure Functions and Azure Cosmos DB, focusing on performance, scalability, automation, and operational efficiency.

• Execute testing, monitoring, troubleshooting, maintenance, and continuous improvement activities to ensure the stability, security, and performance of data platforms and services.

• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver innovative data-driven solutions while ensuring compliance with data governance, security standards, and best practices; must be willing to work full onsite in Makati City.
