Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering with HIPAA-focused systems.
• Experience handling PHI with HIPAA compliance.
• Experience with EHR integrations and HL7/FHIR standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement safeguards for HIPAA compliance across platforms.
• Integrate and manage EHR systems with internal workflows.
• Develop audit logging and monitoring for PHI access.
• Architect data exchange pipelines using HL7 and FHIR.
• Collaborate with engineering to embed security by design.
• Perform regular risk assessments on medical data integrity and confidentiality.
