Dep Consulting seeks an Electrical Drafter to translate complex electrical infrastructure needs into precise drawings for Australian projects. The role emphasizes AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and high-voltage expertise, with a permanent work-from-home arrangement via Emapta Philippines.

With 3–5 years in electrical drafting in utility sectors, you will support substations, powerlines, and network augmentation while following standards and collaborating with international teams for quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years in electrical drafting, design support in utility/high-voltage environments.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Bluebeam is required.
• Experience supporting substations, underground and overhead lines, or network augmentation.
• Knowledge of electrical industry standards, safety requirements, and drafting practices.

Responsibilities

• Build on theoretical concepts under supervision and provide technical support.
• Prepare design plans, environmental reports, and supporting documentation.
• Assist senior staff with information analysis and project coordination.
• Develop an understanding of the business and contribute to team projects.
• Maintain drawing management and documentation practices in line with standards.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver results.
