Position: Electrical Drafting

Responsibilities

• Attention to detail: High level of precision and accuracy in drawing and dimensioning to ensure proper installation.
• Communication skills: Ability to effectively communicate design ideas and technical details to engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Problem-solving skills: Identify and resolve potential design conflicts or issues during the drafting process.
• Design and draft electrical drawings: Create detailed schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and other electrical drawings using CAD software like AutoCAD or similar programs.
• Interpret engineering specifications: Understand and translate electrical engineering plans and specifications into accurate technical drawings.
• Coordinate with engineers and project teams: Collaborate with electrical engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure the electrical design aligns with overall project requirements.
• Maintain drawing accuracy: Ensure all dimensions, component placements, and technical details on the drawings are precise and comply with electrical codes and standards.
