Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Electrical Drafter to support delivery of engineering design solutions for water and wastewater projects within the APAC Power Infrastructure team. You will interpret electrical information, develop SLDs and equipment layouts, and produce documentation using AutoCAD/Microstation.

Requirements include proficiency in AutoCAD, Microstation, and Revit, plus a degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Familiarity with Australian Standards is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma, Associate Degree, or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Drafting, or a related discipline.
• Experience preparing and maintaining engineering drawings in compliance with client, project, and industry drafting standards.
• Familiarity with Australian Standards, Water Corporation drafting requirements, and BIM/CAD best practices is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and implement electrical design information for water/power/energy infrastructure projects.
• Develop and coordinate Electrical Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) and Electrical Equipment Layout Drawings.
• Produce high-quality electrical design documentation using AutoCAD/Microstation.
• Collaborate with engineers and multidisciplinary design teams to meet project objectives, schedules, and quality requirements.
• Contribute to successful project delivery by meeting deadlines and client expectations.
