Job description

Responsibilities

• The Helper provides support to the property management team by assisting with the cleaning and maintenance of units.
• Cleaning and sanitizing vacant units. This includes dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning bathrooms and removing trash.
• Assisting with minor maintenance tasks such as painting, light repairs, and replacing light bulbs.
• Maintaining cleanliness of common areas such as hallways, lobbies, and laundry rooms.
• Assisting with move-in/move-out processes, including removing trash and debris.
• Reporting any necessary repairs or maintenance issues to the Property Manager/Superintendent.
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Following all safety regulations and procedures.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Experience in cleaning and/or maintenance preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Valid driver's license (may be required depending on the location).
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in a retail or warehouse setting is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings (if applicable).
