Inframachineries Corporation is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Technician to join our growing team in Samar, Eastern Visayas. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in maintaining, servicing, and repairing our fleet of heavy machinery and equipment. As a Heavy Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment operates at peak efficiency and safety standards, directly contributing to the success of our operations and client satisfaction. Your expertise will be essential in minimising downtime and extending the lifespan of our valuable assets.
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on heavy equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, compactors and other machinery
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic tools and equipment
Repair and replace worn, defective or broken components to restore equipment to full working condition
Maintain detailed service records and maintenance logs for all equipment serviced
Conduct pre-operation and post-operation safety checks on machinery
Troubleshoot complex equipment issues and develop effective solutions
Operate and test heavy equipment to verify repairs are complete and functioning correctly
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company procedures whilst working with heavy machinery
Collaborate with supervisors and other team members to prioritise work and meet service schedules
Maintain a clean and organised work environment and properly store tools and materials
Proven experience working as a Heavy Equipment Technician or in a similar role within the construction or industrial sector
Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in diagnosing and repairing hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems
Experience with a wide range of heavy equipment including earthmoving machinery and construction equipment
Sound knowledge of engine mechanics, transmissions and drivetrain systems
Competency in reading technical manuals, blueprints and service documentation
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, hand tools and power tools
Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to job sites as required
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
Relevant technical certifications or trade qualifications in heavy equipment maintenance or mechanical engineering are highly desirable
