Job summary

Premier Heavy Equipment Inc in the Philippines seeks a QA/ Yard Inspector to oversee pre-delivery inspections, ensure equipment is in good condition, and supervise yard staff. The role covers ERRs, reporting damages, and coordinating with QA for stocking and safety.

The ideal candidate has a Business Administration degree and at least 2 years in QA or equipment handling, with a valid driver’s license and strong record-keeping skills.

Qualifications

• Must have a degree in Business Administration or related fields.
• Minimum 2 years of QA experience in equipment handling or related industry.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; proficient in record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Perform Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) and Functionality Test of all prepared/stocked heavy equipment.
• Document pre-sold units prior to delivery for records.
• Prepare Equipment Receiving Reports (ERR) for new and returned units during importation.
• Inspect brand-new equipment from hauling activities and report damages or repair needs.
• Conduct monthly warm-ups/anti-rust for heavy equipment.
• Perform daily inspections of all stocked yard units for safety.
• Ensure fuel levels are adequate and coordinate with QA for fueling.
• Supervise equipment & yard attendants and service team during unit prep and yard cleaning.
• Oversee materials needed for unit preparation and coordinate stocking with QA.
• Ensure cleanliness and security of tools, equipment, and prep areas.
• Oversee safe yard operations and address safety hazards with management.
• Perform other duties as assigned by heads.
