Job summary

RD8 Builders Corp in the Philippines seeks a leadership-driven Service Center Officer to coordinate maintenance of light vehicles and heavy construction equipment, ensuring maximum availability, reliability, safety, and efficiency.

You will supervise mechanics, manage spare parts, and maintain detailed maintenance records, aligning shop operations with ISO 9001:2015 standards and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, Industrial Technology, or related field.
• 2–3 years hands-on experience in fleet management, motor pool supervision, or service center operations.
• Proven track record leading mechanics and managing heavy construction equipment maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and heavy equipment mechanics.
• Experience implementing structured Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules and monitoring maintenance metrics.
• Proficient in MS Excel and Word for maintaining service logs, inventory tracking, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and execute PM and CM programs for light service cars and heavy equipment.
• Conduct troubleshooting and root-cause analyses for mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.
• Supervise shop mechanics, auto-electricians, and repair technicians.
• Enforce workshop safety protocols, SOPs, tool control, and 5S practices.
• Ensure high equipment availability and readiness across sites.
• Coordinate with Project Engineers, Operations, and Logistics for scheduling
• Estimate repair costs and manage spare parts inventory for timely turnarounds.
• Perform quality inspections and post-repair tests before releasing equipment.
• Maintain complete service records and maintenance logs.
• Align shop operations with ISO 9001:2015 standards and safety policies.
