Job summary

City of General Trias Doctor Medical Center is seeking a Training Officer to lead training needs analysis, develop annual training plans, and coordinate development activities across departments in a hospital setting.

The role requires strong communication, facilitation skills, and expertise in executing training programs aligned with regulatory requirements. Healthcare experience and DOLE/DOH training knowledge are advantageous for this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HRM, Psychology, Education or related field.
• Preferably 5+ years in Training and Development.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with presentation skills.
• Familiar with Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and gap identification.
• Experience developing and implementing training programs in healthcare is an advantage.
• Proficient in MS Office applications and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Training Needs Analysis to identify organizational and individual training needs.
• Develop and implement annual and department training programs.
• Coordinate with department heads to determine training and competency needs.
• Plan and facilitate in-house training, seminars, and workshops.
• Coordinate with internal and external trainers and providers.
• Prepare training calendars, materials, attendance sheets, and evaluation forms.
• Monitor participation and evaluate post-training effectiveness.
• Maintain training records, certificates, and competency documentation.
• Prepare regular training reports with attendance and completion metrics.
