Optum, a UnitedHealth Group Company, is seeking a results-driven supervisor in Cebu City to lead a healthcare‑account team onsite. You will set priorities, supervise daily activities and drive performance through coaching and regular reviews.

You will participate in recruitment, training and staffing, resolve escalations, and implement improvements in processes to meet service levels. A background in healthcare terminology and PC proficiency are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years supervisory experience in a healthcare account.
• Onsite work 100% with night shift.
• Education: at least 2 years of college/associate degree or higher preferred.
• Experience with registration, charge entry, billing, collections, reimbursement calculation and payment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Solid conflict management skills in high-pressure situations.
• Proficiency with computer systems and Windows.
• Ability to learn new and complex software systems.
• Proven coaching and staff development experience.
• Knowledge of healthcare terminologies.
• Experience with metrics/Survey driven processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, supervise and be accountable for daily/weekly/monthly team activities.
• Set priorities to ensure task completion and meet performance goals.
• Participate in recruitment, training and staffing to ensure qualified hires.
• Provide coaching and conduct annual performance reviews.
• Identify and resolve operational problems using defined processes.
• Provide expertise and support for escalated calls or situations from customers.
• Suggest and implement practical improvements to processes and practices.
