Job summary

J&T Express Philippines seeks a Health and Safety Officer to design and implement company health and safety programs in line with DOLE requirements. You will coordinate with government agencies, conduct inspections, and drive continuous improvement of HS practices across operations.

You will organize emergency drills, manage licenses, and lead HS training, ensuring compliance and a safe work environment for all employees.

Qualifications

• Certificate required by DOLE for OSHS implementation.
• Philippines DOLE Level 2/3 Safety Officer certification.
• Knowledge of IRR for OSHS law.
• Familiarity with safety and health standards.
• First Aider training and fire safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the company health and safety program complies with DOLE requirements.
• Coordinate with health and safety agencies for program effectiveness.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and follow up on corrective actions.
• Maintain health and safety licenses/permits.
• Lead emergency drills and response planning.
• Report and investigate incidents and implement preventive actions.
• Provide HS training and identify training needs.
• Liaise with external authorities on HS issues.
