Job summary

The Medical City Ortigas is seeking an experienced Associate - Health Information to join our Health Information Management team in Pasig. You will ensure accurate facilitation and review of records and documents.

Responsibilities include handling birth certificate registry, coding, chart management, EMR access, and chart disposal. A bachelor’s degree in a medical/allied health field with at least 1 year of HIM experience is required, with ASAP start.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in medical/allied health-related field.
• 1 year of hospital health information management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and review patient records in Health Information Management.
• Process requests for medical information in a timely manner.
• Assemble and manage paper charts from unit stations.
• Perform statistical analysis for discharged patients.
• Assign ICD-10 and CPT codes to patient charts.
• Scan and upload patient records.
• Retrieve charts and manage access to Arcus EMR HIS.
• Submit reports and dispose of charts.
