Job summary

Orion Wire & Cable Inc. in Quezon City is seeking a Safety Officer for an on-site role. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, 1–3 years in manufacturing or industrial operations, and OSH certifications.

You will lead inspections, conduct toolbox talks, prepare safety reports, and ensure regulatory compliance across sites, with willingness to work in assigned operational areas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
• OSH training certifications per DOLE requirements.
• 1–3 years related experience in manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, or industrial operations.
• Knowledgeable in safety standards, hazard identification, and incident investigation.
• Familiar with DOLE OSH Standards, PEZA, DENR, BFP and regulatory requirements.
• Lead safety inspections, toolbox talks, and compliance monitoring.
• Preparation of safety reports and compliance records.
• Willing to conduct field inspections in various areas.
• COSH/BOSH or Safety Officer Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety inspections, toolbox meetings, and safety orientations.
• Prepare safety reports, incident documentation, permits, and compliance records.
• Lead safety orientations and monitor regulatory compliance across sites.
• Coordinate with operations to ensure hazard mitigation and risk control.
• Willing to travel to assigned warehouse, production, and operational areas.

Job Description

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Industrial Technology, Occupational Safety and Health, or any related field.

Preferably with accredited Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) training certifications in accordance with DOLE requirements.

With at least one (1) to three (3) years related work experience in manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, construction, or industrial operations.

Knowledgeable in workplace safety standards, hazard identification, risk assessment, incident investigation, emergency response, and environmental compliance.

Familiar with DOLE Occupational Safety and Health Standards, PEZA, DENR, BFP, and other applicable regulatory requirements.

Capable of conducting safety inspections, toolbox meetings, safety orientations, and compliance monitoring.

Knowledgeable in preparation of safety reports, incident documentation, permits, and compliance records.

Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and report preparation.

Physically fit and willing to conduct field inspections within warehouse, production, and operational areas.

Preferably with COSH, BOSH, or Safety Officer Certification.

Willing to work in Balintawak, Quezon City and/or assigned operational areas.
