Job summary

The Moment Group is seeking an experienced Captain Waiter to lead the dining team in a fast-paced fine dining setting. You will ensure exceptional guest service, supervise staff, and uphold high standards of food and beverage service.

Responsibilities include coaching the team, coordinating with kitchen and bar, handling guest inquiries, and maintaining a professional, welcoming dining environment. Weekend and holiday shifts are required for this role.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant service
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a service team
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and support wait staff in delivering exceptional customer service
• Ensure proper food and beverage service standards are consistently followed
• Assist guests with menu recommendations, special requests, and dining concerns professionally
• Monitor table service, food presentation, and overall guest satisfaction throughout service hours
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely and accurate order delivery
• Handle customer concerns and complaints promptly and professionally
• Assist in training and mentoring new dining staff on service procedures and hospitality standards
• Ensure cleanliness, organization, and proper table setup within dining areas
• Support restaurant management in achieving service quality and operational goals
• Maintain professionalism and positive team morale during peak service periods
