Private Advertiser seeks a seasoned technology infrastructure leader to define and execute the enterprise IT strategy across our Cebu City operations. You will oversee POS, ERP, networks, and data systems, ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable solutions that support rapid growth.
You will manage cross-location infrastructure, lead cybersecurity initiatives, and drive continuity plans, backups, and disaster recovery while coordinating with vendors and business stakeholders.
Develop and implement the organization's technology infrastructure strategy and roadmap aligned with business growth and operational requirements.
Establish infrastructure architecture, technology standards, security policies, and governance across multiple locations.
Assess existing infrastructure and recommend modernization, integration, capacity, security, and scalability improvements.
Develop technology investment priorities, infrastructure budgets, CAPEX requirements, and technology refresh plans.
Advise senior management on infrastructure risks, technology investments, priorities, and emerging requirements.
Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of Point-of-Sale (POS) systems across all retail locations.
Oversee infrastructure supporting POS terminals, databases, store servers, peripherals, networks, and related technologies.
Ensure reliable connectivity and data transmission between stores, head office, and enterprise platforms.
Establish contingency and recovery procedures to minimize disruption to cashiering and selling operations during system or connectivity failures.
Lead POS infrastructure upgrades, deployments, replacements, and technology refresh initiatives.
Ensure technology readiness during peak trading periods, major promotions, and new store openings.
Ensure the infrastructure availability, performance, security, and technical integrity of the organization's ERP/Core Retail Management System and other enterprise applications.
Ensure reliable system access for key business functions including Finance, Merchandising, Procurement, Inventory, Supply Chain, and Store Operations.
Manage servers, databases, connectivity, interfaces, and other infrastructure supporting critical enterprise systems.
Coordinate with application teams, vendors, and business users in resolving system performance and infrastructure-related issues.
Support system upgrades, migrations, integrations, and modernization initiatives.
Ensure reliable integration and data exchange among POS, ERP, inventory, merchandising, accounting, warehouse, payment, and other business systems.
Oversee the technical infrastructure supporting system interfaces and data transmission.

Support reliable data infrastructure for reporting, analytics, dashboards, and business intelligence.
Oversee LAN, WAN, VPN, Wi‑Fi, internet connectivity, and telecommunications across multiple business locations.
Ensure reliable connectivity of branches and stores to centralized enterprise platforms.
Establish network redundancy and failover capabilities for business‑critical locations.
Monitor network availability, bandwidth, latency, security, and performance.
Support technology requirements for new locations, renovations, relocations, and expansion projects.
Ensure reliable infrastructure supporting credit and debit card transactions, QR payments, e‑wallets, bank integrations, and other electronic payment channels.
Coordinate with Finance, Operations, banks, payment providers, and technology partners to maintain payment‑system availability.
Ensure secure connectivity and integration between POS and payment platforms.
Minimize technology‑related payment downtime that could affect sales and customer experience.
Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of cybersecurity controls.
Oversee firewalls, endpoint protection, network security, identity and access management, vulnerability management, patching, and security monitoring.
Protect POS, ERP, databases, servers, endpoints, and other critical infrastructure against cybersecurity threats.
Establish appropriate privileged‑access and administrative‑access controls.
Coordinate vulnerability assessments, security reviews, penetration testing, and remediation initiatives.
Develop cybersecurity incident‑response and escalation procedures.
Develop and maintain comprehensive IT Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity capabilities.
Establish backup, redundancy, failover, restoration, and recovery procedures for critical technology platforms.
Define appropriate Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO).
Conduct regular backup restoration tests and disaster‑recovery exercises.
Establish contingency procedures for technology disruptions affecting store operations, POS, payments, networks, and enterprise systems.
Oversee physical and virtual servers, storage, databases, cloud environments, backup infrastructure, and data‑center operations.
Ensure appropriate capacity planning, patching, configuration management, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
Evaluate opportunities for cloud adoption, virtualization, infrastructure consolidation, and modernization.
Maintain accurate infrastructure architecture, configurations, dependencies, and technical documentation.
Establish effective service desk, incident management, problem management, and escalation processes.
Ensure timely technical support to business locations and corporate functions.
Establish and monitor SLAs for critical technology incidents.
Conduct root‑cause analysis of recurring and major incidents and drive permanent corrective actions.
Implement appropriate escalation protocols for incidents affecting store operations or sales.
Manage relationships with technology vendors, telecommunications providers, payment partners, cloud providers, cybersecurity providers, and managed service partners.
Lead technical evaluation and selection of infrastructure solutions.
Establish and monitor service‑level agreements and vendor performance.
Ensure timely escalation and resolution of critical vendor‑supported technology issues.
Evaluate solutions based on reliability, scalability, security, compatibility, and total cost of ownership.
Lead infrastructure requirements for new locations, renovations, expansion projects, and technology modernization initiatives.
Ensure timely deployment of networks, POS infrastructure, servers, connectivity, payment infrastructure, and end‑user technology.
Coordinate project requirements and timelines with business stakeholders.
Ensure technology readiness prior to new location openings and major operational activities.
Lead, coach, and develop the Technology Infrastructure and IT Support teams.
Establish clear accountabilities, KPIs, service standards, and performance expectations.
Strengthen organizational capabilities in infrastructure, networks, systems, cybersecurity, POS support, ERP support, and IT service management.
Develop succession plans for critical technology positions.
Build a culture of service excellence, urgency, accountability, cybersecurity awareness, and continuous improvement.
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
At least 8-10 years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure, systems, networks, or technology operations, with significant leadership experience.
Proven experience managing technology infrastructure across multiple locations or branches.
Experience in retail, FMCG, distribution, logistics, or other high‑volume and transaction‑intensive environments is strongly preferred.
Strong knowledge of POS infrastructure, ERP/business systems, databases, enterprise networks, servers, cloud environments, cybersecurity, and multi‑site connectivity.
Experience supporting business‑critical systems including POS, inventory, merchandising, ERP, warehouse, accounting, and payment platforms.
Strong knowledge of business continuity, disaster recovery, cybersecurity, IT service management, and infrastructure monitoring.
Experience managing technology vendors, telecommunications providers, infrastructure projects, and IT budgets.
Relevant certifications such as Cisco, Microsoft, AWS, Azure, ITIL, CompTIA, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are an advantage.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, project management, and problem‑solving capabilities.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
Ability to translate technical issues into clear business impact, operational risks, and management recommendations
