Job summary

Svitla Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer for a full-time role in Mexico. The candidate will own end-to-end features across the React frontend and Python data/backend stack, with a strong emphasis on performance, data pipelines, and Kubernetes-based delivery.

Responsibilities include building ETL pipelines in Airflow, API exposure in FastAPI, and containerized deployment via Helm, ArgoCD, and Terraform. On-call rotation and AI-assisted development are part of the role.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience building and operating production web applications.
• Strong knowledge of React and TypeScript with data-dense UIs.
• Proficiency in Python for backend/API and data work (FastAPI or similar).
• Experience with Docker & Kubernetes in production.
• Familiarity with GitOps (ArgoCD/Flux), Helm, and IaC (Terraform).
• Solid SQL/data pipeline experience (Airflow or equivalent).
• Hands-on with AI-powered development and agentic tooling.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship full-stack features across React frontend and Python services.
• Design and maintain data/ETL pipelines in Airflow and FastAPI services.
• Work within Kubernetes/GitOps delivery model and ship via ArgoCD.
• Use agentic tooling to move faster and add AI-powered capabilities.
• Improve reliability, review code, and mentor engineers.
