Job summary

Kamali and Associates Pte. Ltd. seeks a Head of Security & Crisis Management for Asia operations. You will lead security and crisis management, align efforts across business units, and influence at all levels.

Role requires over 10 years in security/crisis leadership, Mandarin proficiency, and strong stakeholder engagement with regulators and partners. You will develop BCM systems and oversee budgeting to support strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Security, Risk or Crisis Management or similar.
• 10+ years in security and crisis management roles.
• Leadership experience in a matrix environment and influence at all levels.
• Subject matter expert in Crisis Management with operations knowledge.
• Certifications in Security, Risk or Crisis Management preferred.
• Ability to communicate with senior regional leadership and external bodies.
• Fluent English; Mandarin proficiency required.

About the role

Head of Security & Crisis Management for Asia operations. Provide leadership to Security and Crisis Management operations and integrate the security function across all business units, aligning with overall business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with all business leaders, auditors and partners to understand requirements and concerns related to Security & Crisis Management and regulatory compliance, and to map those requirements to current security management practices
• Provide professional information, advice and consultancy on all aspects of security to regional management and staff
• Responsible for organizational and staff development, performance management and leadership to direct and indirect reports to support key department initiatives
• Responsible for successful implementation, maintenance, and further development of company crisis management and BCM systems to ensure company is prepared, able to respond and to recover from crisis situations
• Develop relationships with high-level officials within the law enforcement community, governmental security agencies as well as private sector counterparts
• Assist in the development and management of annual budget planning to support overall business strategies
• Communicate with senior management through regularly scheduled meetings and updates with key stakeholders to ensure alignment on security and crisis management strategies

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Security, Risk or Crisis Management or similar studies
• More than 10 years of security and Crisis Management experience
• Significant leadership experience with demonstrated ability to work in a matrix environment and ability to influence at all levels
• Subject Matter expert for Crisis Management with operation knowledge
• Certifications in the area of Security, Risk or Crisis Management preferred
• Ability to work with all levels of management, including regional leadership, key external organizations or governmental bodies
• Ability to communicate objectives, plans, status and results clearly, focusing on critical few key points
• Ability to work under very high stress from sudden extremely complex crisis situations
• Bilingual in English & Mandarin is compulsory. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
