Job summary

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) invites applications for Unit Head, DCID-UIC in Manila. Based at ADB Headquarters, the role leads the Internal Communications Unit, overseeing governance, strategy, messaging, events, and digital platforms including the Intranet and newsletters.

You will manage staff, coordinate with departments, advance AI-powered tools, support crisis communications, and drive staff engagement.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in relevant fields or 5+ years of specialized experience.
• At least 12 years of relevant work experience including international experience.
• Excellent written and verbal English communications.
• Strong stakeholder management and internal communications expertise.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership for the Internal Communications Unit.
• Lead development of governance, strategy, and policies for internal communications.
• Oversee internal messaging, campaigns, and events.
• Coordinate with departments to align and amplify messages.
• Manage production and dissemination of internal communications materials and platforms.
• Lead staff engagement and performance reviews of consultants/contractors.
• Support HQ events involving ADB Management and knowledge sharing.
• Oversee digital tools, intranet, newsletters, SharePoint, and signage, including AI tool integration.
