Job summary

Maier Vidorno Altios seeks a Head – Integrated Product Support (IPS) to oversee complete lifecycle support for high-end, defence-related electro-mechanical systems. The role integrates technical support, documentation, training, warranty management and service infrastructure into a single customer-focused function.

The ideal candidate brings 15+ years in IPS/field service, strong leadership, and experience with installation, commissioning, and lifecycle planning.

Qualifications

• English is mandatory
• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end technical support through remote diagnosis and on-site troubleshooting for product lifecycle.
• Perform RCA, implement CAPA and ensure timely closure of customer complaints.
• Develop knowledge databases from recurring field issues.
• Provide pre-sales technical support including product demonstrations and testing.
• Assist customers during technical evaluations, acceptance testing and bid qualification activities.
• Provide technical inputs for proposals, compliance matrices and customer queries.
• Lead installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of systems.
• Conduct operator and maintenance training programmes for customers.
