Job summary

Q2 HR Solutions is seeking an experienced Lead HSSE to drive enterprise-wide safety strategy across multiple thermal power assets in the Philippines. You will oversee policy development, risk management, and regulatory compliance while guiding site-level teams toward continuous safety improvements.

The role demands 10–15 years in HSSE, strong certifications, and a track record of improving safety culture and operational resilience.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years in HSSE or related roles within power generation, energy, utilities or other high-hazard industries.
• Certifications such as BOSH/COSH, Pollution Control Officer (PCO); CSP, PFSO, CPP or equivalents preferred.
• Strong background in regulatory compliance, emergency preparedness, and incident investigation.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide HSSE strategy, governance, and performance across multiple thermal power generation assets.
• Drive the HSSE Transformation Journey, strengthening organizational maturity, risk management, and operational resilience
• Establish and oversee corporate HSSE policies, standards, management systems, and technical programs aligned with regulatory and industry requirements.
• Partner with the COO, Site Heads, and site-level HSSE teams to ensure consistent implementation of standards and continuous improvement across all operating sites.
• Oversee occupational safety, process safety, environmental compliance, security management, emergency preparedness, and incident investigation.
• Lead and develop the corporate HSSE team while fostering a strong safety culture, organizational learning, and cross-site collaboration.
