Meralco PowerGen (MGEN) seeks a seasoned Head of Energy Stakeholders Affairs to lead engagements with regulators, legislators, LGUs, and industry groups, shaping strategies that support grid access and long-term objectives.

The role requires a robust network within Philippine government agencies, strong leadership, and the ability to navigate complex political environments to advance corporate interests in the energy sector.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Communications, Law, Public Relations, or related field.
• A Master's degree (e.g., MPA, MBA) is highly preferred.
• Minimum 10–12 years of progressive experience in public affairs, government relations, stakeholder engagement, or CSR.
• At least 5–7 years in senior leadership or managerial role with external engagement responsibilities.
• Extensive network within Philippine government agencies, legislators, and LGUs.
• Experience in energy/infrastructure/regulated industries is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Formulate and implement a holistic external stakeholder engagement strategy with regulators and government stakeholders.
• Develop and execute targeted engagement plans for specific projects or initiatives.
• Map stakeholders, assess interests and influence, and tailor communication approaches.
• Lead interaction with Senate, House of Representatives, and other government agencies beyond energy regulators.
• Monitor legislative developments and coordinate responses with Legal and Regulatory teams.
• Represent MGEN in dialogues, forums, and committees related to policy affecting the energy sector.
• Collaborate with Corporate Communications, CSR, Legal, Regulatory, Project Development, Land & Permitting, and Operations.
• Provide expert advice on stakeholder sensitivities and engagement protocols.
• Establish metrics to monitor engagement effectiveness and prepare progress reports for senior management.
• Prepare presentations on stakeholder landscapes and emerging issues for Head of Grid Access, Industry, and Stakeholders Affairs.
