Dalmia Cement Bharat Ltd seeks a strategic Head of Department for Electrical & Instrumentation to lead a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, supervisors and technicians.

You will own the departmental strategy, budgets, safety programs, and performance goals while ensuring uptime, reliability and energy efficiency across PLC/DCS, SCADA and automation systems.

Qualificações

• Graduate degree in a relevant engineering discipline required.
• Demonstrated leadership of Electrical & Instrumentation teams.
• Experience with E&I project management, budgets, and audits.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage the Electrical & Instrumentation team (engineers, supervisors, technicians).
• Develop departmental strategy, budgets and performance goals.
• Mentor team members to build technical competency.
• Oversee installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance of E&I systems.
• Ensure uptime and efficiency of PLC/DCS, SCADA, automation and instrumentation.
• Review maintenance schedules and optimize costs.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, ISO and audits.
• Plan and execute E&I projects, coordinate with vendors and contractors.
• Monitor KPIs for downtime, MTTR, MTBF and energy usage.
• Prepare MIS, reports and documentation.

• Coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and consultants.
• Review engineering designs, technical specifications, and project schedules.
• Cost & Energy Management- Optimize power consumption and implement energy-saving initiatives.
• Prepare and manage departmental budgets.
• Monitor KPIs related to downtime, MTTR, MTBF, and energy efficiency.
• Documentation & Reporting- Maintain documentation for all electrical and instrumentation assets.
• Ensure timely preparation of MIS, reports, and audits.
• Support ISO, statutory, and internal audits.
