Job summary

Dempsey Resource Management in the Philippines seeks a seasoned Chief Compliance Officer to lead our corporate compliance program, ensuring operations align with BSP, SEC, AMLC and NPC regulations.

You will craft policies, conduct audits, manage regulatory examinations, and develop metrics. Strong leadership, integrity, and ability to work under pressure are essential. The role requires a deep understanding of industry standards and the ability to communicate clearly with staff and regulators.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree required or equivalent in law, finance, business administration or related field.
• Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) is a plus.
• Proven experience as Chief Compliance Officer or similar role.
• Deep knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
• Excellent reporting and record-keeping abilities.

Responsibilities

• Be abreast and knowledgeable with regulations on non-bank financial institutions from the MORNBFI, AMLC and data privacy from NPC.
• Help craft and propose compliance policies and procedures based on above regulations.
• Develop and implement a compliance program to ensure the company operates in accordance with BSP, SEC, AMLC and NPC regulations.
• Be the primary point person in dealing with examination and findings from the mentioned regulatory agencies.
• Design compliance metrics and establish a tracking system.
• Sign off on marketing, advertising collateral and product development for regulatory compliance.
• Perform compliance audits to assess adherence and identify improvements.
• Maintain up-to-date written documentation and policies related to the organization’s activities.
• Create compliance resources for staff to reference when needed.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Management.
