Ethos is a new expert network built by a McKinsey/SoftBank/DeepMind team and backed by investors. We are seeking heads of competitive intelligence to train AI models on professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks.

The role offers fully remote, flexible hours (5–20 hours per week or more) with a compensation of $70/hour and an ASAP start date. Qualifications include 4+ years in market research, CI, or benchmarking, plus experience building market sizing models and pricing matrices.

Qualifications

• 4+ years conducting market research, competitive intelligence, or industry benchmarking analysis in an agency, consulting, or in-house strategy role.
• Direct experience building market sizing models, competitor battlecards, or pricing comparison matrices used to inform go-to-market or product decisions.
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship, with excellent written communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create and refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slides for competitive intelligence work.
• Develop market sizing models, competitor battlecards, and pricing matrices to support GTM and product decisions.
• Summarize and communicate insights through high-quality visuals and written reports.
