Job summary

Eastman Industrial Supply Inc. seeks an Assembly Manager to lead and optimize all assembly and service-center operations across Makati, Cebu, and Sta. Rosa. You will drive safety, quality, and efficiency while aligning with the company’s goals.

You will oversee manpower development, implement continuous improvement and coordinate across departments to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years in assembly, repair, or service operations.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory/managerial capacity handling mechanical and electrical assembly or service centers.
• Experience in pump and motor rehabilitation is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the setup, development, and management of assembly and service centers in Makati, Cebu, and Sta. Rosa.
• Ensure operational readiness, efficiency, and safety compliance of all facilities.
• Establish and monitor KPIs to measure productivity, cost-effectiveness, and service quality.
• Oversee rehabilitation processes for pumps and motors to meet high performance and quality standards.
• Manage and mentor Assembly Supervisors and technical teams to achieve operational excellence.
• Set performance goals, monitor progress, and drive team engagement and accountability.
• Oversee manpower allocation and ensure optimal deployment across multiple locations.
• Promote a strong culture of safety, discipline, and teamwork in all operations.
• Implement Lean and Kaizen initiatives to streamline workflows and eliminate inefficiencies.
• Drive innovation through improved assembly methods, tools, and process designs.
• Conduct audits to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Recommend and implement best practices for productivity improvements.
• Oversee QA/QC protocols for all assembly and rehabilitation projects.
• Approve inspection and testing procedures to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Manage non-conformance reports and initiate corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain alignment with ISO, EHS, and company quality standards.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, Warehouse, QA/QC, and Sales teams for project execution.
• Consolidate reports covering performance, output, and efficiency.
• Monitor inventory, tools, and equipment maintenance schedules.
• Participate in management meetings to align assembly operations with strategic goals.
