Job summary

Sokoni Kwetu Limited is seeking a Head of AI to lead AI initiatives, digital transformation, and AI-driven business solutions.

You will define AI strategy, drive adoption, oversee data and ML initiatives, and build scalable AI capabilities across the organization. The role requires strong leadership in AI and data science, translating business goals into technical roadmaps, and collaborating with executives to deliver measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Engineering, or Mathematics.
• Master’s degree or MBA is an advantage.
• At least 10 years of experience in AI, ML, data science, or technology leadership roles.
• Proven experience leading enterprise AI initiatives and digital transformation programs.
• Strong knowledge of machine learning frameworks, cloud platforms, big data technologies, and AI architecture.
• Experience with AI governance, data privacy, and ethical AI practices.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and strategic thinking capabilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
