Job summary

Nephro Specialist Inc. is seeking an experienced Head Nurse to lead the nursing team and oversee clinical operations at our Compostela facility.

You will manage patient care standards, supervise nursing staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate daily workflows to deliver dialysis and patient services.

Qualifications

• BSN degree and Philippine RN license is required.
• 3–5 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/head nurse role; dialysis or specialized clinic preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership, decision-making and crisis management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and EMR systems.
• High attention to detail, strong organization, ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

About the role

Nephro Specialist is seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Nurse to lead our nursing team and oversee clinical operations at our Compostela facility. In this role, you will manage patient care standards, supervise nursing staff, ensure compliance with health regulations, and coordinate daily clinical workflows to deliver exceptional dialysis and patient services.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the nursing staff, assign duties, monitor performance, and ensure adherence to high standards of patient care and safety
• Oversee specialized care processes (such as dialysis treatments), monitor patient progress, and handle escalated clinical issues or emergencies
• Ensure all clinical procedures, infection control protocols, and health standards comply with regulatory requirements and facility policies
• Coordinate shift schedules, conduct ongoing training and evaluations, and mentor nursing personnel to promote professional growth
• Monitor medical supplies, equipment maintenance, and pharmaceutical stocks, ensuring the facility is fully equipped for daily operations
• Maintain accurate medical records, collaborate with physicians and administrative teams, and manage reports related to patient care and unit performance

About you

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) graduate with a valid Philippine Nursing License (RN)
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or head nurse role (dialysis or specialized clinic experience preferred)
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and crisis management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure
