Job summary

Dempsey Resource Management is seeking a qualified Electrical Engineer with Solar PV project experience to lead on-site installation and instrumentation activities. The role requires ensuring conformity with PEC and DOE guidelines and coordinating field teams.

The candidate should have a PRC license or be an RME, with 4–5 years in solar or electrical construction, and a willingness to travel to sites for projects across residential and industrial sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 4–5 years engineering experience (solar PV or electrical construction preferred).
• PRC Licensed Electrical Engineer or RME.
• Experience in residential and industrial solar projects.
• Knowledge of SCADA and remote monitoring systems.
• Supervisory experience managing field or installation teams.
• Knowledge of solar PV systems, instrumentation, and monitoring technologies.
• Familiar with PEC, DOE guidelines, and permitting processes.
• Experience using commissioning and testing tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise solar PV installation and instrumentation activities on-site.
• Ensure compliance with PEC standards, DOE guidelines, and project permitting requirements.
• Manage and coordinate installation teams, contractors, and field personnel.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, and system performance validation using appropriate tools.
• Monitor work progress and ensure adherence to project schedules and quality standards.
• Identify and resolve technical and on-site installation issues.
• Enforce safety policies and promote a strong safety culture across all sites.
• Prepare reports and documentation related to installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
