Job summary

Dempsey Resource Management is seeking a qualified Electrical Engineer with Solar PV project experience to lead on-site installation and instrumentation activities. The role requires ensuring conformity with PEC and DOE guidelines and coordinating field teams.

The candidate should have a PRC license or be an RME, with 4–5 years in solar or electrical construction, and a willingness to travel to sites for projects across residential and industrial sectors.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
4–5 years engineering experience (solar PV or electrical construction preferred).
PRC Licensed Electrical Engineer or RME.
Experience in residential and industrial solar projects.
Knowledge of SCADA and remote monitoring systems.
Supervisory experience managing field or installation teams.
Knowledge of solar PV systems, instrumentation, and monitoring technologies.
Familiar with PEC, DOE guidelines, and permitting processes.
Experience using commissioning and testing tools.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise solar PV installation and instrumentation activities on-site.
Ensure compliance with PEC standards, DOE guidelines, and project permitting requirements.
Manage and coordinate installation teams, contractors, and field personnel.
Oversee testing, commissioning, and system performance validation using appropriate tools.
Monitor work progress and ensure adherence to project schedules and quality standards.
Identify and resolve technical and on-site installation issues.
Enforce safety policies and promote a strong safety culture across all sites.
Prepare reports and documentation related to installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
