Job summary

CodeRound seeks a hardware-focused leader to drive end-to-end development of AI-driven healthtech devices in a startup setting. You will own embedded software, firmware and hardware architecture, and steer productization from prototype to scaled production.

The role requires coordinating with contract manufacturers, validating BOMs, and ensuring compliance across certifications. Mentorship and process maturity are key parts of the remit.

Qualifications

• Experience in end-to-end hardware product development from prototype to production.
• Strong understanding of embedded software/firmware integration.
• Ability to lead hardware teams and coordinate with contract manufacturers.

Responsibilities

• Own embedded software, firmware and hardware architecture.
• Drive device productization and production discipline.
• Manage third-party manufacturing and vendor relationships.
• Own BOM and sourcing strategy.
• Lead certification and import compliance.
• Design solution architecture for the product ecosystem.
• Lead hardware forensics and rooted-cause analysis.
• Mentor junior hardware engineers and establish processes.
