Job summary

New Hatchin in Quezon City, Philippines, is seeking a Restaurant Supervisor to assist the Manager in training staff, oversee daily operations, and ensure food safety and cleanliness across the grocerant.

You will manage shifts, monitor inventory, stock replenishment, organize product displays, handle cash, resolve customer questions, and provide feedback to improve service, while maintaining FIFO and proper labeling.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervising a restaurant or grocery store team.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Manager to train and supervise staff regarding handling of customers.
• Ensure all food safety procedures are strictly adhered to according to sanitary conditions.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of the grocerant.
• Follow company policies and procedures regarding the handling of cash, property, products and equipment.
• Audit inventory levels to ensure product availability and order products as necessary.
• Manage and oversee the entire restaurant operation.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and deliver superior customer service.
• Respond efficiently to customer questions and complaints.
• Organize and supervise shifts in the absence Manager
• Assist Manager in evaluating the performance of each staff and provide Manager with appropriate feedback.
• Ensure that grocery shelves are maintained clean, organized, and stocks are replenished.
• Ensure that staff follows the “First In First Out” and “First Expiration, First Out” policy.
• Ensure that all products are properly tagged and labeled.
• Assign daily workload and schedules to staffs in the absence of manager.
• Set up product displays according to merchandising standards.
• Assist Manager in inventory control and other paper works and reports.
• Perform other tasks that may be assigned by Management.
