Qualifications

• 2–3 years in artwork management for OTC/Pharmaceutical products or FMCG packaging.
• Experience in prepress layout preparation for various printing processes with spot colors/Pantone.
• Strong attention to detail and customer-focused approach.
• Fluent in English and strong design sensibilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare prepress layouts for packaging, including live trapping, editing, imposition, and output.
• Deliver expertise to commercial teams and the Design organization for Brand redesigns and Master Artwork Development.
• Support the design manager in developing creative concepts and design iterations while ensuring regulatory and brand guidelines compliance.
• Guide the graphic design process with recommendations on technical aspects for final print packaging and innovative printing solutions.
• Ensure printability and execution of final packaging by managing pre-press procedures and color standards.
• Align artwork management with sustainability objectives and drive digital workflows (ARTWORK Management system, PLM, Analytics, AI).

JOB MAIN PURPOSE

Artwork management services for Bayer Consumer Health that sustain the Design & Packaging processes, ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and internal requirements Coordination of the creation and approval of MAW file for NPD and re-designs

Prepare original packaging layouts and layout commissioning (remote printing –flexography, rotogravure, offset, dry offset for Spot Colors/Pantone

YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare prepress layouts for packaging, including live trapping, editing, imposition, and output.

Demonstrate knowledge of layout rules, techniques, typography, and text culture Deliver expertise and consultancy to the commercial teams and the Design organization for Brand redesigns and Master Artwork Development. Act as guardian of Brand Packaging Guidelines and master assets e.g. logos and typefaces

Support the design manager in developing creative concepts and design iterations, reviewing artworks, ensuring fit to design intent, regulatory requirements, brand guidelines etc. Steer the graphic design process by offering recommendations on technical aspects for final print packaging. innovative graphic solutions and printing technologies to our internal stakeholders for consideration to strengthen brand presence on shelf and to realize design intent

Effectively ensure printability and execution of final printed packaging by managing pre-press procedures, including technical review and approval of printing films, attendance at initial press runs and issuance of color standards for production consistency. Align and implement sustainability objectives with respect to artwork management Have digital mindsets to drive artwork operations through digital implementation: Artwork Management system, PLM System, Analytics, AI

YOUR KEY SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree (design, graphic communications, or print technologies) or comparable experience. 2-3 years of experience in artwork management of OTC/Pharmaceutical products or FMCG, packaging design or print production.

Or experience in a design agency as part of a production team Solid working knowledge of printing technologies, including flexography, rotogravure, offset, and dry offset Proven experience in professional prepress layout preparation for flexography, rotogravure, offset, and dry offset printing, specifically using Spot Colors and Pantone.

A positive, proactive and flexible attitude in a fast-paced environment with consistent attention to detail and good judgment. Comprehensive understanding of artwork workflow and processes Good interpersonal skills and high degree of customer focus
