Job summary

MicroSourcing in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines is seeking a Graphic Designer to create advertisements using Adobe InDesign, lay out pages, and prepare ePaper/eMag documents for online posting. This full-time, on-site role offers a hybrid work setup with day shifts.

You will collaborate with the Creative Services team, manage layouts for ads and editorial pages, upload materials to the internet, and ensure quality before sending pages to press.

Qualifications

• Experience with Adobe InDesign.
• Ability to design advertisements.
• Knowledge of graphic design principles.
• Experience with layout and design of commercial work.
• Ability to use a web-based graphic resource.
• Experience with preparing ePaper/eMag documents.
• Ability to upload documents to an internet site.
• Experience with layout and design using Adobe InDesign.
• Ability to obtain approval for adverts from clients.
• Knowledge of editorial system operation.

Responsibilities

• Design advertisements from copy provided mainly using Adobe Indesign.
• Use web-based graphic resource for design tools.
• Access workflow and copy via Company built Workflow System – Star Production System.
• Prepare ePaper/eMag documents and upload them to our Internet site.
• Lay pages out, placing advertisements, editorial and photos.
• Send pages to press, ensuring quality is upheld.
• Layout and design any commercial work, such as books, brochures and magazines.
• Obtain approval for adverts from clients.
• Lay out editorial pages using Adobe Indesign.
• Work with allocated material (stories and pictures) from the editorial system via Company built Workflow System – SCMS.
• Become fully conversant with the operation and production flow of the company.
• Coordinate with the Creative Services Manager and Supervisors.
• Handle one department: Advert, Editorial, Classified or Flat Plan.
• Perform any other tasks assigned.

• The Pre-Press Operator will be directly responsible to the Creative
• Services Manager and his Supervisors and will direct any queries to them.
• Can handle 1 department either Advert, Editorial, Classified or Flat Plan
