Job summary

SPML Infra Limited seeks a Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) for Engineering / Projects / Renewable Energy. The role is factory-based with hands-on learning in BESS systems, from technical support to site commissioning.

Candidates should hold a BE/B.Tech in Electrical disciplines and be willing to work on-site at project locations. Freshers are welcome; 1 year of experience is noted as a preference.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of electrical engineering and power systems.
• Understanding of renewable energy systems (Solar + BESS preferred).
• Familiarity with AutoCAD / electrical design tools.

Responsibilities

• Support preparation of technical documents, drawings, and reports.
• Learn about battery technologies (Lithium-ion, LFP, etc.), PCS, EMS, and SCADA systems.
• Support site activities including installation, testing, and commissioning of BESS systems.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and site teams.
• Monitor project progress and report deviations.
• Assist in pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
• Support functional testing of BESS components (Battery racks, inverters, transformers).
• Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Help in troubleshooting system issues and performance monitoring.
• Assist in preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Analyze system data and generate performance reports.
• Maintain project documentation (drawings, test reports, checklists).
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports.
