Albert Bartlett is recruiting a Grading Operative at our fresh potato packing site in Boston, Lincolnshire. You will be responsible for accurately grading potatoes, inspecting for defects, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace on a fixed Sunday to Thursday shift from 18:00 to 02:15.

The role offers £12.71 per hour plus a 50p backshift premium, with opportunities to contribute to a team that delivers high-quality produce while adhering to health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in production or grading roles is advantageous.
• Attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety standards.
• Physical fitness is required, as the role involves standing for extended periods.
• Positive attitude and a strong work ethic to contribute to a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Accurately grade potatoes, ensuring all products meet quality and weight specifications.
• Inspect products for any defects or quality issues, reporting any concerns to the supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the area, following all health and safety protocols.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
