Job summary

DER Touristik Suisse AG in the Philippines seeks an operations specialist to handle group bookings, daily operational tasks, and reporting to the supervisor/operation manager. You will work closely with the sales team to push for real bookings and ensure timely service confirmations and invoicing.

The role emphasizes collaboration with agents, destination teams, and HR, with responsibilities spanning deadline control, budget oversight, and troubleshooting during trips.

Qualifications

• Service-oriented with very positive working attitude.
• Ability to prioritize work effectively and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Attentive to details and sensitive to figures.
• Organization skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly motivated and a good teamwork player.
• Knowledge of European destinations is an advantage.
• Min 1–2 years working experience in operations in the travel industry is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• New group bookings, including series and ad hoc.
• Push confirmation of services, including hotels and ground services.
• Deadline control.
• Revenue/budget control.
• Regular update of sign up pax.
• Communicate with agents, LPICs and HRD when needed.
• Cancel groups when required and follow up cancellation fees if any.
• Materialize groups when approved and ensure services are confirmed by due time.
• Change services and follow up confirmation by due time.
• Finalize groups and send final documents to agents.
• Check BIS reports and create invoices.
• Troubleshoot while groups are in the trip.
• Join weekly operation team meetings for information sharing.
• Internal communication with Destination Management Office Operations.
