Job summary

Manulife is seeking an experienced Trade Support professional to provide day-to-day operational support across FX, cash management and settlement activities. You will coordinate with Front Office, custodians and internal teams to ensure accurate trade lifecycle execution.

The role requires strong analytical abilities, excellent communication, and the capacity to train junior staff while managing risk and process improvements in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics or related.
• 5+ years in Trade Support, Middle Office, Investment Operations, Cash Management or Fund Accounting.
• Understanding of securities instruments and FX trades.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day operational support including FX transactions, fund transfers, cash projections and reconciliations.
• Communicate with Front Office, custodians and vendors to ensure timely settlements and issue resolution.
• Investigate and resolve overdraft or breaks highlighted by Front Office or other teams.
• Highlight positions and cash reconciliations and resolve reconciliation breaks.
• Manage risks including operational, reputational and settlement risks.
• Build metrics, reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Lead cross-skilling, training, and onboarding of junior staff.
• Escalate issues timely to SMEs or Team Leaders and mitigate gaps.
