Job summary

Manulife is seeking a Cash Management Senior Analyst to support disbursement and collection activities for the company’s cash assets in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment in Manila. You will interact with Front Office, custodians and vendors to ensure timely settlements and robust cash reconciliations.

The role requires 5+ years in Trade Support or Investment Operations, strong knowledge of securities, FX, and funding instruments, and the ability to mentor junior staff while driving

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics or related business course.
• Minimum 5 years related work experience in Trade Support, Middle Office, Investment Operations, Cash Management or Fund Accounting.
• Investment certification is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge in securities instruments (Equities, Bonds, FX, Time Deposits).
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, reading).
• Able to work in time-sensitive environments with strong analytical ability.
• Ability to resolve complex problems and provide metrics/reports.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day operational support (FX, Fund Transfers, Cash Projections, Reconciliations).
• Cover tasks arising from coverage issues and ensure timely settlements.
• Communicate with Front Office, custodians and vendors to resolve issues.
• Investigate overdrafts or breaks and reconcile positions and cash.
• Manage risks including Operational, Reputational and Settlement risk.
• Mentor junior staff and onboard new joiners; escalate issues timely.
• Drive process improvements and automation; build metrics and reports.
