Job summary

TE Connectivity seeks a Manager I Global Trade Compliance (Remote) to lead the GTS activities for the Americas CLS BU. The role demands strong regulatory knowledge, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to drive compliant trade operations across multiple sites.

You will partner with governance teams to monitor regulatory changes, train staff, and implement strategies that optimize compliance, efficiency, and risk management in a global, remote-capable environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in international business, supply chain, law, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in global trade compliance in the Americas region.
• Preferred: 3+ years in supporting trade functions within industrial, electronics, communications, transportation, or similar business.
• Functional knowledge of import/export regulations and customs practices across the region, especially the US.
• Ability to collaborate with supply chain, legal, procurement and finance teams.
• Spanish writing and speaking skills would be a plus.
• 10–20% travel may be necessary.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for US Customs and trade operations in the Americas region.
• Lead duty reduction initiatives and value reconciliation procedures.
• Implement and oversee trade compliance for BU and plants and DC.
• Maintain BU-level KPIs and reporting on trade operations.
• Collaborate with GTS Governance on regulatory changes and audits.
• Develop and deliver effective trade compliance training.
