Job summary

TE Connectivity Philippines seeks a COO Specialist to determine, validate, and maintain certificates of origin for all products, ensuring regulatory compliance across global processes. You will collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, Supply Chain, Finance and GTS to apply Rules of Origin, Tariff Shift, and Value Add concepts while interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in international Trade, Logistics, Customs, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Trade Compliance, Certificates of Origin, or related areas.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and tariff classification.
• Strong understanding of international trade regulations.
• Analytical skills and close attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination abilities.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and data management tools (SAP, GTS, PDM).
• Prior experience in determining the non-preferential origin of manufactured goods.
• Knowledge of applying the concepts of Rules of Origin; Tariff Shift, Value Add, understanding Production Process Rules, Sets, and what constitutes minor processing.
• Able to work with cross-functional collaboration to obtain knowledge of TE parts.

Responsibilities

• COO Determination And Validation: Analyze and assign the correct origin for new part numbers and review existing ones to identify errors and risks.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with international and local regulations related to certificates of origin.
• Risk Management: Prevent loss of knowledge and mitigate tariff-related financial risks.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Work with Procurement, Costing, Manufacturing, PDM, and GTS teams.
• Scalability And Continuous Improvement: Build foundation for future regional COO responsibilities and sustainability initiatives.
• Center Of Excellence: Consolidate knowledge into a centralized role to reduce gaps and errors.
